Pregnancy Week 21

God’s creation is great. It is greatest blessing to woman that he has empowered a woman with a power to create a life by herself. Imagine there is a baby developing in you, which will put on a full ounce and a half this week, but that is just the beginning. Within the next one month or five weeks, you may begin to experience hormonal and physical changes in your body. Due to hormonal changes, many Pregnant women start feeling stress, hyper tensed etc.

Fetal Development

Your baby now weighs half the weight of a tin of beans. Not to worry as this is the phase which every pregnant women has to face while pregnancy. According to dermatology department the baby’s skin is thin and soft, seems to be red, rather semi- transparent and a bit wrinkled, but not to worry, it’s not a premature aging disease. So don’t worry and experience how the baby makes you feel with her/his presence in you. Body and Exercise

Your waistline ceases to be visible at this stage as your uterus starts to move up above your navel. It is quite obvious in Pregnancy that you may put on weight but that’s not an end to it. Every woman undergoes various changes while she is pregnant. But, if her weight increases it may lead to problems like swelling in the lower legs in pregnancy week 21. Avoid swollen feet and ankle by giving a good massage to your feet regularly when ever you feel like. And try to give rest to your feet and put them in upward position so that blood circulates.

Are workouts harmful during pregnancy? It is a common question posed many a times. Exercise is a nice way to maintain your shape while Pregnancy and can reduces few complications like too much weight gain, varicose veins, and back ache. But for pregnancy week 21 woman there is some other exercise which is to be followed particularly at this time, and i.e., to go slowly is the game’s name. Growth in the Child

Your baby is growing day by day and weighing up to 16.5 ounces. Interact with your baby as he/she will hear your voice. In Pregnancy Week 21 your baby can have amniotic fluid inside the womb but there is no harm in it, it gives the growing baby some essential nutrients. And as intestine of your baby is developed enough to absorb small amount of sugar from the fluid, your baby swallows it, which will be passed through the digestive system to the larger bowl.

If you feel your baby is moving, you will probably notice it more when you are resting. With each passing day the baby grows and you will feel it yourself.
