Pregnancy Week 23

At this point of pregnancy you might have pretty much adjusted to the fact that you’ve a moving little football player inside you. But, now he/she is going to kick up and give an indentation on an edge as, they can hear and react to sounds from the outside world, sounds like alarm clock and so on. This stage of Pregnancy is very active as a person who touches your belly can feel the kick by themselves.

Fetal Development

In week 22 your baby weight was a pound, but now it increases a bit. Your baby is weighing about 501 grams i.e. 1.1 pound and 11 inches long. Your baby’s skin is still loose which gives a wrinkled appearance. In this Pregnancy Week 23 your baby starts doing his/her own exercise inside your body. Your baby’s daily exercise includes moving his/her legs, hands, fingers and toes. It is so surprising but it’s true that all the miniature parts are now completely developed in the body, like we have. Similar to us, the baby has fingers, hands, feet, nose; it’s just that its way too small when compared to us.

What Mom’s Doing

In Pregnancy, if no one tells you this earlier that you can face some sleeping problems, you probably start facing how difficult it can be to sleep in comfortable positions. But, don’t panic some people actually discovered some special pillows for pregnant woman. Although, most of the time you have to lay straight to avoid strain over the body, you can from time to time change position of your body.

Also, if you want to reduce the fearful feelings of pregnancy calf-ankles then you can try to refrain from sitting for longer period of time. And for most of the time don’t forget to remain active. In this Pregnancy Week 23 regular exercise is good for health but choose the correct exercise while pregnancy. Body Changes in You

When your delivery date is near then many changes can occur in your body and more troubles like discomfort, anxiety, frequent urination, change in mood and lot more are usually experienced. Your Growing Baby

By Week 23 of pregnancy your baby is capable of hearing voices from the womb. You can notice this as most of the time your baby kicks you. You can feel the movement of your baby and this will continue. By now your baby’s fingernails are almost developed. You can hear your baby’s heartbeat with a stethoscope.
